Hey up ! It’s only 17 days until the big fella pays a visit…
I suppose I really should pull my finger out and purchase some presents! ( to pass onto Santa to deliver of course!)
It also means I get to open 17 more little advent calendar boxes with my breakfast and coffee. Whoop, whoop…mornings have never been so exciting.
Yes, I am officially a big kid. I must point out Santa – a very good one at that.
No sneaky peaking into any of the boxes. Nope not my style.
I’ve also tried to avoid any reviews OR read the back of the box which does list all the contents.
What can I say, I love a surprise.
The Marks and Spencer’s Advent Calendar is coming up trumps. The first 7 days boxes have been great with a varied selection of brands and products.
The advent calendar WAS available to purchase for £25 when you spent £50 in store within the beauty department. (Not a hard task for a beauty junkie like me!)
I say was …it has unfortunately sold out. I’m one of the lucky ones who got their mitts on one.
So for those of you who didn’t get one , or your just intrigued to see what goodies we have received so far… read on
Firstly, It’s beautifully packaged.
The 24 individual boxes look very festive and are predominately red, gold and purple with a different design on each. See below
(If you follow me on Instagram I’m updating daily. Death by advent calendar springs to mind!)
So far we have received …
Todays offering was Rituals Zensation Organic Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom – foaming shower gel – 50ml
I’ve not had chance to use any of the products just yet.
Tell a lie…
I’ve had a quick squirt of the Nuit Parfum.
It’s not really a fragrance I would normally wear (I’m a Tom Ford Black Orchid Girl) but it will be a lovely stocking filler for mum. My mum’s not fussy; god love her she will wear anything.
Overall I’m very impressed. Great brands, good sizes. I can’t wait to see what else the month has to offer.
I’m especially hoping that Day 15 is a good one as it’s my birthday! (Like you didn’t already know. I’ve not mentioned it …much!)
So what do you think, have you had a ‘beauty / novelty’ advent calendar and how does it compare ?
I’ll keep you posted on what other lovely offerings the advert calendar has to offer over the next few weeks and maybe review some of the products.
Tomorrow I’m off Christmas shopping for mum, dad and boyfriend. I’m also after a Christmas Tree and a bottle (or two) of Baileys Cream.
After all it is the season to be jolly, and have Baileys with everything! Coco Pops anyone?
Until next time, Tracey x

I wish I’d got my hands on one of these advent calendars! I love the Elasticizer; that is a great product. Let me know what you think of the mascara? xx
I’m very lucky 🙂 and of course I will. I Like the look of the brush! Some great products in there so far. Maybe next year eh?? 😀 xx
You know it’s only this year that I’ve got into investing a bit more into my skincare, haircare and make-up so these calendars have only just appeared on my radar….and boy am I gutted! :0( Never mind…there is always next year! Enjoy yours Tracey…it looks amazing, lucky you! xx
I’m such a beauty junkie, I have boxes of samples and stuff. I had the YOU beauty box last year and that was a goodie too. It really is a nice thing to do. Sit down with a coffee and see what we’ve received. Birchbix was a goodie this month too… See total beauty junkie 😀 Thankyou Michelle xx
