B E A U T Y | M.A.C ‘Starring You’

Press Event & Hotel Stay as part of my role as Regional Brand Ambassador. I am not under any obligation to write this post

On a rainy , dismal Thursday October evening what better way to spend an evening than under the stars [quite literally] in London’s Natural History Museum celebrating the launch of the new ‘Starring You‘ holiday collection from M.A.C cosmetics

I have never been to the Natural History Museum before but from what I saw it’s an impressive, beautiful building.

I didn’t see the whale ! I didn’t see the ice rink either but apparently I walked right past it on the way in.

Note to self – must go back and find the whale. .. and the ice rink ! #blindasabat

We were led to the Moon Room. Don’t quote me; I’m sure that’s not it’s official name.

It looked absolutely stunning . Like something you’d imagine cropping up in a Harry Potter movie … only the grown up version … with Prosecco. Here’s to always being gobsmacked; in awe of your surroundings with a childlike wonder !

I am currently trying to figure out how I can work a moon and stars into my tiny living room decor?

Such a beautiful space …

Scattered in-between the dinner service, beautiful flower displays and candles were pieces taken from the new collection for us to have a play with and try on.

The new collection is named ‘Starring You‘ and is rather beautiful.

If Carlsberg did Christmas holiday makeup … it would be this.

“Reveal the star you are this holiday season. Share the spotlight or steal the show with a crowd-pleasing collection of star-studded shades. It’s your time to shine.”

The embossed star detailing and the way the light catches and sparkles on the ‘Kiss of Stars‘ lipstick collection is fabulous. So pretty you don’t want to use them .

BUT of course I did…

I can resist most things apart from temptation … and have been wearing ‘Gold Star!‘ in the centre of my bottom lip [on top of a another new favourite ‘A Star In Your Name] for a few days now.

It’s not trashy cheap sparkles; it highlights and adds subtle glittery bits. Grown up sparkle so to speak.

I’m wearing it [and a full face of M.A.C] below

Opalescent Powder ‘Rising Star’ | £26.50

Rich and Creamy texture, blends easily, Non-acnegenic, dermatologist tested, for all skin types

The evening was fabulous with live entertainment, food and fizz. There was a guy being painted by one of the M.A.C make-up artists and an area where you could sit and learn all about meteors .

I can now proudly claim that I have held a piece of meteor! I don’t have a photo though so did it ever really happen ?

Star Dipped Face Compact | £39.00

[Medium Deep. Long-wearing – 10 hours, Non-acnegenic, for all skin types]

To finish here are some photos I took back at the hotel … mainly because that’s the way I roll and I love the retro telephone !

Thankyou M.A.C for inviting and having me – beautiful evening , beautiful collection !
