Beauty | Repose yourself for a good cause …

Hello Lovelies,

Can you believe it’s Friday already?! It only seems 2 minutes since I was recovering from my hangover … induced last Friday. Saying that hangovers in my 40’s do seem to take a chuffing week to  disappear.

I’ve had a lovely day . I met up with one of my mum’s best friends Anne. [ a beautiful soul inside & out] I’m making a conscious effort to do so; it’s what Mum would have wanted.

We sat and chatted [mainly about Mum] drank  copious amounts of coffee and I came home with a new book ‘Be a unicorn & live life on the bright side’ …

as you do at 46!

So I thought I’d pop on here today to tell you all about a rather fabulous offer Temple Spa has on.

October is Baby Loss Awareness Month; between Friday 13th and Sunday 22nd of October, it’s buy 1 get 1 free on Repose Aromatherapy Resting Cream. Even better for every Repose sold 10% of the sale will be donated to The Mariposa Trust.

The primary function of the charity is to support anyone who has been affected by the loss of a child at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy.Temple Spa have teamed up with the Mariposa Trust throughout the month of October to help support them in raising funds for a 24 hour helpline. This will ensure that  anybody who has lost a baby will always have a safe, kind and knowledgeable ‘someone’ to turn too at any time of the day.

Containing such goodies as chamomile, frankincense, lavender, patchouli and geranium its hardly surprising that Repose aids restfulness and is often referred to as ‘a good nights sleep in a jar‘ It smells delicious. It is ideal for all skin types, helping to fight those pesky lines and wrinkles.

I personally use it as a night cream. I take a small amount, rub it into my palms and inhale before slathering the remainder onto my face. I use it before bed and find I’m feeling sleepy within minutes. As a person who finds it hard to sleep it is at times a god-send.

It  really is a multi-tasker and has several other uses.

  • As the perfect down time day cream on those days when you want to slumber and relax. Just apply and lounge.
  • As a recovery mask for tired skin. Temple Spa advise you apply a thin layer and leave it on to work its magic for 2 hours. I think I might try this later tonight as I’m feeling slightly under the weather. The Mr has cold which I think he has kindly passed onto me! Flowers, chocolates … nope just a nasty cold!

Repose normally retails at £40.00 for a 50 ml pot, however for this week only you’ll receive 2 pots for the same price. Grab yours before it sells out as stocks are limited. With Christmas [ yes I mentioned the C word!!] within ear-shot it would make a great stocking filler.

I do hope the BF is reading.

While I’m on I just thought I’d mention another offer that Temple Spa are currently running throughout the whole of October.

Again 10% of sales will be going directly to the Mariposa Trust.

‘Take a Moment’ is a 4-piece collection of the ultimate stress-relieving essentials that will leave your mind, body & soul feeling relaxed and restored.

It contains

  • DRIFT AWAY | 30mL/1fl.oz. [ my fav!]
  • QUIETUDE | 30mL/1fl.oz.
  • REPOSE | 15mL/0.5fl.oz.
  • PEACE BE STILL | 15mL/0.5fl.oz.

It costs £29.00 but you can purchase it for just £15 when you spend £65.00 or more on Temple Spa products.

It really is a beautiful collection. Drift Away is maybe my favorite Temple Spa product EVER.

The best type of gift are the ones that give back don’t you think?
