R A F F I N A • by Reece Elliot

I was kindly invited to pop along and sample the dinner menu at the above restaurant. I grabbed M and off we trotted.

Raffina by Reece Elliott is based at 837 Ecclesall Road, Sheffield more or less opposite The Wild Card.

There is a carpark to the rear of the building for use by their customers and various other businesses.

It is worth noting that there is free parking for Raffina guests. On arrival type your registration number into the allocated machine at the end of the bar, it registers your car and you won’t get a parking fine. Genius.

It also has disabled access, you just need to make sure you enter through the main entrance at the front of the building.

Right now for the good part –  interiors and food.

The interiors are dreamy and the bar is a fabulous turquoise colour which draws your eye.

They do a full range of cocktails. The Espresso Martini as recommended by my friend [ also called Tracey ] was spot on. I do love a good Espresso Martini. It wasn’t on the drinks menu but it was no problem for them to knock me one up.

The Dinner menu is either £45 for 2 courses, or £55 for 3.

We had all 3, it’s me ! You know I LOVE my food.

I chose Pan Fried King Scallops Nduja & Parsley Butter, Confit Tomatoes, Charred Sweet Corn for starter.

Pistachio & Herb Crusted Lamb Lion for main. It melted in my mouth.

Salted Caramel Custard Tart Brown Butter Crumb, Cappuccino Ice Cream for pudding.

The portions are fairly small but the taste is massive. I am not exaggerating, my senses went into overdrive. It was, from start to finish , absolutely bloody DELICIOUS.

I have not been paid to say that and I don’t possess secret shares in the company either. I just appreciate good food in lovely surroundings.

Lastly I spotted that they do a bottomless brunch on Saturdays between 11-3pm. A group text may have been sent to all my friends last night , you know a little hint 😉

Thoroughly,  100% recommend

Tell them Tracey sent you x
