The Beauty Box from Sheer Luxe …

I love a good beauty box; a little treat to yourself for being good, bad , indifferent…

For walking the dog in all weathers !!

Whatever your reasoning sometimes we just need that little something to lift our spirits and what better way than a box full of goodies delivered right to your door-step. Pamper-tastic!

I saw this particular box on the Sheer Luxe news letter.

What originally drew my attention was this beautiful Mercer Gold watch from Rosefield.

It’s a beauty and something you would not usually expect to find in a beauty box.

It’s fairly plain, not too girly and it reminds me of the watch my late grandma used to wear. Apparently its paying tribute to an exciting street in one of NYC’s signature shopping destinations.

I like the sound of that.

I’ll think of my late Gran and NYC when I’m wearing it. Perfect.

It’s adjustable, so one size fits all .

I’ve not got around to adjusting mine as yet but as I’m dying to wear it, it won’t be long.

Rosefield Mercer Gold Watch

The box isn’t the cheapest at £99.00 however the watch alone is worth £79.00 .

The full contents of the box are worth over a whooping £300.00 so when you think about it like that it is a rather good deal.

  • Rosefield  Mercer Gold Watch
  • Illamasqua Precision Ink Liner – Full size
  • HD Eye&Brow Palette – Full size
  • Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask – 15ml
  • 111skin Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask – 1 mask
  • Show Lux Volume Mist – Full size 150ml
  • Eyeko Rock Out & Lash Out Mascara – Full size
  • FOREO Night Cleanser – Full Size 100ml
  • NAILSINC nail polish in Victoria – Full Size
  • Anne Semonin Eye Express Radiance Ice Cubes – 2 cubes.
  • NUXE Multipurpose Dry Oil – 50ml
  • St Tropez Gradual Tinted Body Lotion – Full size 200ml

I’ve not had chance to sample all of it yet.

I only received it on Friday – I’m good but I’m not that good.

I thought I’d give you a quick preview along with my initial thoughts on some of the contents starting off with a favourite brand of mine Omorovicza.

We received a 15ml pot of the Ultramoor Mud Mask which I was planning to use last night but fell asleep! It’s on my pamper list for tonight; a blue grey mud that smells absolutely divine.

A 50ml pot would set you back £65.00 so this is a great way to try before you buy. I wouldn’t want to purchase a full size (with my temperamental skin) at that price without first sampling it.

You apply a generous amount to cleansed skin, leave for 15 minutes and then thoroughly remove with a damp cloth.

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse is one of my all time favourite multi-purpose dry oils.

This smells like summer holidays in a bottle. It can be used on the face, body and even to calm frizzy hair. (hello that would be mine)

It’s just gorgeous and having recently used up the last traces of mine, perfect timing.

HD Eye&brow palette – 002 Foxy (£30.00)

An award winning, long lasting palette of brow powders and setting wax complete with double ended eye and brow brush.

Despite having my brows micro-bladed I do like to add depth when the mood takes me, especially on a night out. I’m looking forward to trying this and no doubt making a mess!

High Definition Eye&Brow Palette

Eyeko Rock Out & Lash Out Mascara – Beatnik Black

I’m really impressed with this mascara. It has a guitar shaped brush which helps in creating beautifully separated , long lashes.

I’m not sure how is works but I just love the brush and how you can reach the little hard to get lashes but also create long, curled and  defined lashes.

It costs £20.00  and I would definitely re-purchase this.

FOREO Night Cleanser – Celestial Melting Gel (£30.00)

You apply this cleanser on an evening to dry skin and then massage with wet fingers.

It starts out as a silken gel but ‘melts’  into a milk .The consistency  feels beautiful. It contains Meteorite powder which delivers effective cleansing while detoxifying the skin. It leaves the skin so soft.

I’ve used this for the last couple of evenings and thoroughly enjoy cleansing with it.

FOREO cleansers are specifically designed to be used along side LUNA devices as the t-sonic activation brings textures to life and stimulates active ingredients. I used mine with my Clarasonic and it’s been fine

Its another product I would re-purchase … just as long as I don’t break out in spots.

So far, so  good. I’ll keep you updated.

SHOW Lux Volume Mist

SHOW Lux Volume Mist (£35.00)

A Volumising mist that you spray onto roots of damp hair. I’ve not used it yet but I’ve had a spritz and can confirm it smells delicious. Plus just look at that bottle. Stylish , sexy, expensive looking,  this will look amazing sat on my dressing table.

111SKIN Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask

A sheet mask that supposedly brightens and tightens lacklustre complexions.

I’m going to save this to try before a big night out … or the morning after a big night out. Along with these Radiance Eye Cubes by Anne Semonin they may just rescue my face.

These eye cubes refresh, lift and brighten tired eyes. They are specially developed as a complete solution to treat dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles.

Again I’ll report back…

Anne Semonin Eye Express Radiance Eye Cubes

All in all I’m dead chuffed with the contents of the Sheer Lux Box which is available through Latest In Beauty.

I’ll no doubt do a follow up post when I’ve had a proper delve and used more of the products. This was just my first impressions.

If you saw my un-boxing over on instastories you’ll realise just how giddy I was. Gringe-worthy but funny … and thankfully it’s now disappeared into the wonderful cyber world.

You can purchase your very own box // HERE

Have you purchased this or any other beauty boxes recently ; what were your thoughts?

Right I’m off to walk Mollie yet AGAIN

I’m earning brownie points for future boxes… I’m not daft me!

Until next time, Tracey x
