Last Sunday myself and 5 of my lovely lady friends headed for Huddersfield and the delightful Titanic Spa.
This was to be our second and very much anticipated visit.
On this occasion it was to celebrate a 50th, a 60th and a new born! What better way to do this than to pamper to our hearts delight. We had snapped up the ‘2 for the price of 1′ offer several months ago which includes for all the following …
- Overnight accomodation in a serviced (very plush) apartment.
- Leisure club
- Titanic Heat & Ice Experience which includes : Aromatheraphy room, crystal steam room, Herbal infusion room, Ice Room, Sauna, Reflexology Foot Baths, Experience Showers & Bucket Showers
- Club Titanic and Swimming Pool
- Relaxation Room
- Continental breakfast in your apartment, Light Lunch and 2 -course evening meal.
All for £59.00 each. Terrific Value.
The apartment was amazing – high ceilings, white minimalistic walls with splashes of colour , wooden floors and big open windows that led out onto the spacious (if slightly blustery) balcony.
The one we were allocated slept 6, which was made up as follows: 2 light and airy bedrooms containing 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds which were situated in the large open living room come dining room / kitchen.
There were 2 tastefully decorated bathrooms which each had a separate shower and bath plus (maybe the best bit) Elemis goodies to continue the pampering !
We were greeted with a welcome letter and some chocolates.
There were also 2 baskets which contained our breakfast / essentials to get us through the night – cereals, croissants, orange juice , biscuits , milk and fruit plus hot chocolate , tea and coffee.
Everything you need except for alcohol which we had brought along ourselves. Several bottles of champagne, wine and some beer which we left happily chilling in the fridge while we went off for some well deserved pampering.

We spent the day in our Titanic Spa brown terry towelling dressing gowns, white slippers and swimming costumes.
We lazed around the pool, we swam, nipped in and out of the Heat and Ice experience.
Chilling out on sun-loungers, drinking coffee, chatting and laughing is the best way to while away the hours.
Some of the girls had booked a treatment and disappeared for an hour or so, only to return all revitalised and glowing.
One of the highlights for me was being able to go into the sauna, steam room, swim etc and NOT have my eyebrows melt /wash off, which usually happens.
Oh the joys of eyebrow tattooing. It is probably one of the best things I’ve ever had done. I no longer resemble a potato ‘sans’ makeup.
The lovely Wendy Mordue worked her magic on me and I cannot recommend her enough. Salt of the earth that lady !
Now if only somebody could sort out my muffin top and my spots we’d be onto something!
Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera on me for the majority of the day as its not practical to take your camera in the sauna, and Im sure people wouldn’t take too kindly to being snapped half undressed and sweaty.
If I’m totally honest I was so relaxed I forgot – taking pics was the last thing on my mind!

My lovely friends and I… celebrating Carols 50th in December.
We haven’t got a picture from the spa day itself. I think we all went camera shy.
For lunch you are offered a choice of either sandwich, salad or soup. I had the open beef sandwich which came complete with coleslaw and crisps. It was very tasty.
Included in the deal is also a 2-course evening meal. You have the option of all 3 for an extra £4.95.
I choose mushrooms in garlic sauce for starter and chicken curry as my main. Because we were treating ourselves we all had pudding. I had lemon meringue – it was delicious. So lovely I took a picture! Mr Pudding oh how I love you!
We brought our own wine and we’re charged £5 corkage. Any further drinks we had where chargable.
All in all we had a great time, topped off with some fine food and champagne. It really is an AMAZING offer and great value for money.
We all slept like babies. Its amazing just how tiring doing nothing really is!
For further details and to get first notification of any more up and coming offers I suggest you subscribe to their website / newsletter. You may thank me later…
Thank you so much Titanic Spa for looking after us and making us feel so very welcome. Like the great man Arnie said ‘I’ll be back’
Until next time, Tracey x
