HEXAPEPTIDE 9 • Super Facialist

#AD – Paid Partnership

Hello, how’s it been going ? Good, I hope.

Today I’m talking skincare and giving you the lowdown on a new range of skincare I’ve been giving a whirl. Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of testing out the new range of skincare by Super Facialist – Hexapeptide 9 Anti-Ageing Advanced, a range especially developed for mature skin.

I first discovered Super Facialist a few months ago when I was sent some PR products to try. I instantly fell in love with the Vitamin C Cleansing Oil which is an absolutely beautiful product. I have since purchased this for myself, and I’m sure we will be firm friends for life.

Today I thought I’d share my first impressions and give you some more in-depth information regarding the Hexapeptide 9 range, starting with the key ingredients featured across the collection:

Hexapeptide 9 helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Reforcyl targets multiple signs of ageing
Kakadu Plum improves skin’s radiance. I love the sound of that. Plums and radiance!

I am not overly wrinkly [ I guess there are some pluses to having had greasy, spot prone skin when I was younger ] but after using this range for a couple of weeks my 50-year-old skin definitely feels more plumped up and hydrated. Hydration is something my mature skin craves to keep it looking more grape than dried up raisin.

There are 3 products within the range: Cleansing Milk, Extra Firming Serum and Rejuvenating Night Cream

Skin Cleansing Milk • £15.00 for 200ml

It is ideal as a first cleanse as it is very gentle; it removes excess oil and makeup easily without drying out the skin. It comes in a handy pump dispenser which I feel is more practical and less messy.

Extra Firming Serum • £21.00 for 30ml

This is a lightweight serum that sinks into the skin beautifully. It helps support the skin’s barrier function while providing hydration. It leaves my skin feeling comfortable with a matte finish, ready for my night cream.

Both the cleansing milk and serum can be used morning and evening. At the moment, I am incorporating them in my evening routine only.

Rejuvenating Night cream • £25.00 for 50ml

Contains Camelina Seed Oil which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and hydrates the skin. Another product that sinks into the skin beautifully, isn’t too heavy and leaves my skin feeling hydrated with no greasiness. My skin definitely feels brighter in the morning.

I am looking forward to experiencing and seeing for myself the results after using this trio for a further few more weeks.

Products are readily available to purchase online at Super Facialist / HERE and in-store at selected Boots stores. They are very reasonably priced and cost between £15 and £25 [ as detailed above ]. However, for a limited time only you can grab all 3 products for £46.00 rather than £61.00 with Super Facialist’s online exclusive bundle offer.

I’d love to know whether you have tried this brand before and if so, I’d love to know all about your favourites in the comments below.

Until next time,

Tracey
